How you can help

There are many ways to support our Foundation. The two most popular ways are a one-off payment or regular donations for our current needs such as providing food for the school canteens.

Many of our children do not eat breakfast at home, so they come to school hungry. We collect money to buy rice, meat and vegetables to cook for our children as an everyday meal.

With donations we previously received we were able to run a morning program called ‘a cup of milk’ for more than 200 children in Saint Joseph College.
Currently we are providing lunches at Saint Joseph College, a Primary School in a rural village Ambatomasina and in a canteen run by Anglican nuns in Tsinjohasina village. Together we feed more than 630 hungry children daily!

We have also found sponsors for over 400 children in a sponsorhip program called ‘virtual adoption’. Thanks to that scheme all sponsored children have their school fees paid and they eat a hot meal everyday, which is often their only meal. Please let us know if you also would like to help a Malagasy child this way!

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS.

We kindly ask you to transfer your donations to our bank account or via paypal method. Let us know which project you would like to support!

The Backpack Project

This program aims to give as many children as possible a backpack with all the necessary school accessories. Children in Madagascar often lack basic school materials and therefore they can not start education.

In previous years we managed to collect more than 900 backpacks which we distributed to children in Saint Joseph College and in two countryside primary schools in Tsimahandry and Ambatomasina.

We encourage schools and other educational institutions abroad as well as individual sponsors to join this program. Together we can give more children a chance to come to school with all the materials they need!

A new backpack should contain:

  • a pencil case;
  • 4 pens: red, blue, black, green;
  • a pencil;
  • a trigonometry set (a ruler, a triangle, a protractor, a compass);
  • a rubber;
  • a pair of scissors;
  • a glue stick;
  • a set of coloured pencils;
  • a set of felt-tip pens;
  • a lunchbox;
  • a bottle for water;
  • optional: white and coloured A4 paper sheets (no exercise books please, because the schools in Madagascar have special requirements concerning
  • the size of the lines; therefore it is only possible to buy them in Madagascar).

After contacting us by e-mail all parcels with backpacks can be sent to our address as follows:
